Sebastiaan van der Zwaan
DirectorSebastiaan has a background in public international law, specialising in human rights with an interest in local, innovative ways to achieve social change. He strongly believes that human rights and equal opportunities can only be effectively achieved on the local level, and that it is therefore important to strengthen and develop inclusive, creative and sustainable cities and local communities.

Radboud Reijn
Senior AdviserRadboud provides the organisation with strategic advice on advocacy and project development. He is currently involved in the development of projects like the Human Rights Defenders Indicator Framework and refugee integration.

Manon Muti
Training Coordinator & Trainer for Human Rights Defenders and SecurityManon has a professional background in human rights activism. She coordinates the training programme for human rights defenders and is a security trainer herself. Before joining Justice and Peace, she worked in Mexico, Colombia and Honduras, where she supported the UN and several human rights organisations, with a special interest in gender issues.

Christina Triantafyllidi
Programme Officer Fundraising and Project DevelopmentChristina joined Justice and Peace in 2017 to empower change makers from all over the world. She is an international lawyer, specialising in Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, and has substantial experience in projects promoting human rights, democracy and peace.

Suzan Goes
Programme Coordinator Shelter CitySuzan joined Justice and Peace in 2017. She is responsible for the overall coordination of the Shelter City programme. She previously worked for Human Rights Watch and the Netherlands Red Cross and has an educational background in Latin American Studies.

Leroy Niekoop
Programme Officer Shelter CityThe empowerment of human rights defenders is a subject that has always been of great interest to Leroy. He works as the Programme Officer for the Shelter City Initiative. He has a Master’s Degree in Public International Law and Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Amsterdam (UvA).

Maaike Graaff
Programme Coordinator Migration and Human rightsSince her first encounter with Afghan refugees, Maaike has been committed to defend everyone’s ‘right to have rights’. Before joining Justice and Peace, she held positions at the Dutch journal on Asylum and Migration Law and at an NGO working with undocumented migrants. She obtained her Master’s degree from the Refugee Studies Centre at the University of Oxford.

Liselot van Zantvoort
Programme Officer Migration and Human rightsLiselot helped to build up the 'Welcome Here' network. As an anthropologist Liselot always seeks opportunities to translate different perspectives into concrete activities for our Migration programme. Besides her work on the Welcome Here project, Liselot is working on an education project for refugees and undocumented migrants.

Tariq Al Hasan
Programme Officer Migration and Human RightsAfter he moved to the Netherlands, Tariq finished his master studies in English Language and Culture. He joined Justice and Peace in 2018 to become a vital member of the Migration team. Among his tasks is developing programmes for newcomers to ease their integration in the Netherlands. In Syria Tariq worked as an articles translator for a national newspaper.

Marjolijn Lampe
Senior Communications OfficerBefore starting at Justice and Peace, Marjolijn worked as a communications advisor in diverse profit and non-profit organisations. She coordinates the communication activities of Justice and Peace and its initiatives as well as the organisation of public events.

Aisha North
Communications OfficerAfter living in Canada and Malaysia and finishing her studies in International Relations and Affairs in the UK, Aisha moved to The Hague to start her career in human rights. She now takes care of the organisation’s external communications, and communications for the Shelter City programme.

Wim Ruijgrok
Financial OfficerWim manages the finances and the administrative matters of Justice and Peace. He shares his time between four different NGOs and works three days a week for Justice and Peace.

Maranke de Krieger
Office Manager & CommunicationsAfter working for several companies and NGOs, Maranke joined the Justice and Peace team in 2014. On top of the regular tasks of a management assistant, Maranke takes care of online communication and graphic design.
